50 Cent Says Friendship with Eminem Is ‘Never Gonna Change’

After performing alongside Dr. Dre during the Super Bowl Halftime Show, 50 paused to consider his lifelong bond with his mentor. He posted a picture of himself and Em from the 2003 Super Bowl in addition to the current year’s version. Fifty stated they were still as close, even though the pictures were taken 19 years apart.

“This friendship will always endure,” he captioned the photo. 50 has frequently demonstrated his allegiance to Eminem, who signed him to Shady Records 20 years ago. In 2014, he said to Music Choice, “I have so much value for him, not just in my career, just in my life.” “I can rely on him to be truthful in his constructive criticism, which makes him one of my closest friends.” He also praised Em’s MC abilities. “There is no doubt that Black music is hip-hop. He continued, “Unfortunately, there are some people who find it difficult to believe that a white artist is better than a black artist at what they do. “You can get in a room with Em and stand them face to face with whoever you think is the best black artist, and he’ll eat that shit alive.”

Eminem celebrated turning 50 in January 2020 by receiving a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. At the induction ceremony, he declared, “I’m here today because this is not only a business partner to me, it’s one of the best friends I’ve ever known in the world.” And because this person is so fucking persistent, I would say that being his buddy is far more enjoyable than being his opponent. And he’s not going to quit. Even though they didn’t work together on Ed Sheeran’s “Remember the Name” for three years, Eminem did make a guest appearance on the 50’s Starz series “BMF” in November.
