Academy Award-winning actress and director Angelina Jolie was recently spotted enjoying a low-key shopping trip with her 17-year-old daughter Zahara in the heart of Rome.

The sighting comes as Jolie takes a break from directing her upcoming film Without Blood in the Italian capital.

Jolie and Zahara were photographed hand-in-hand as they perused the racks at a local Zara store, seemingly taking advantage of some downtime to indulge in a bit of retail therapy.

Ever the doting mother, Jolie appeared relaxed and content as she strolled through the store alongside her eldest daughter.

For the outing, Jolie opted for a casual yet chic ensemble, donning a long beige coat, black pants, and a simple white t-shirt. Zahara, meanwhile, complemented her mother’s look with her own stylish outfit, pairing a black leather jacket with dark jeans and sneakers.

The Without Blood project, which Jolie is directing and producing, is an adaptation of Alessandro Baricco’s novel of the same name. The film, set against the backdrop of a brutal conflict, is expected to showcase Jolie’s acclaimed directing skills and her ability to tackle complex, emotionally-charged subject matter.
