A whole team of employees is stationed next to the star practically around the clock. It’s no wonder they know her better than devoted fans.

48-year-old Angelina Jolie is a successful actress, producer, and director, a mother of many children, and recently,

the owner of her own clothing brand. Juggling all these roles can be challenging, so for many years, the star has relied on a whole staff of personal assistants.

Chefs, nannies, managers, personal security, drivers—these are just a small part of the people working for the American star. They interact with Jolie daily, seeing her in various situations, and know her as well as close friends. Over the years, they have shared details with the press.

For instance, back in 2011, one of Angie’s former nannies claimed that there was real chaos in her home. This was due to the six children of the actress and her ex-husband Brad Pitt—adopted 22-year-old Maddox, 19-year-old Pax, 18-year-old Zahara, and biological 17-year-old Shiloh, as well as the 15-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne.

“It’s a place of constant fighting, swearing, obscenities, and fights between brothers and sisters,” quoted the nanny by InTouch.

According to the governess, the biggest fights happened between Maddox and Zahara, and they were never known for exemplary behavior. The former indulged in alcoholic beverages and drove the parents’ car around the property, while the latter consumed only unhealthy food and often used foul language.

This was confirmed by another nanny in 2015 when she gave an interview to Star. According to her, Jolie can’t be called a strict mother when it comes to discipline.

“It’s like they live in a hippie commune because Angie doesn’t believe in rules. She thinks it’s important for children to have the freedom of self-expression,” lamented the woman.

In addition, with their mother’s permission, the children only study subjects that interest them, ignoring anything that doesn’t captivate them, including some homework. Pitt’s ex-wife is convinced: her heirs should choose the direction they want to study on their own, and then she will do everything possible to ensure they receive the best education.

“She has four main tutors, but there are also temporary ones—specialists in a specific field. She wants the children to learn from the best,” explained the source.

And it’s hard to argue with that, as Jolie’s parenting method has indeed borne fruit. Despite their young age, the star couple’s eldest offspring are already making confident strides in their chosen fields: Zahara plans to become a women’s rights advocate, Pax is seriously interested in art, and Shiloh is into dancing.

One of Angelina and Pitt’s employees also shared the main rule the couple adhered to during their marriage. It was quite simple: no fights in front of the children and staff. However, it seems that the actors didn’t always succeed in this—just remember the story of Brad’s fight with his eldest son on a plane.

Speaking directly about Jolie as a boss, almost all employees note her fairness and respect for the work that falls on the shoulders of the staff.

“Angelina and Brad try their best to treat the staff well because their employees work overtime. Brad always buys them huge bottles of champagne for birthdays, and Angelina asks the children to draw them cards,” said a source to New Zealand Herald in 2015.
