Eminem call Minaj ‘bae’, saying: “Nicki, just text me later we’ll talk about it

The ‘Rap God’ hit-maker addressed the rumor mill about dating the fellow rapper at the Boston Calling music festival and took it one step further when he put the question to the buzzing crowd.

Crowd footage from the concert shows the audience absolutely losing their minds the instant Eminem even brought up Minaj’s name. Check it out:

In the footage, dated May 2018, Eminem can be heard saying: “Man, hold on wait. I just thought of something.”

The ‘Lose Yourself’ star continued: “I just want to take this time out right now to give a shout to my bae Nicki Minaj.

“Sweetheart, I’ll be home tonight – we’ll figure this s*** out.”

Eminem then asked: “Yo, Boston. How many people in here want me to date Nicki Minaj?”

Unsurprisingly, the prospect of the two rap legends ever shacking up sent the crowd into an absolute frenzy.

“Hold on,” the rapper reiterated. “So wait, one more time.

“Let me make sure so I can actually make this official – how many people in Boston want me to date Nicki Minaj?”

He then pointed his mic to his bellowing fans who erupted into a chorus of cheers.

Eminem then responded: “Well, g**dammit me too!”

Swiftly circling back, the ‘Mockingbird’ rapper added his own personal message to Minaj, saying: “Nicki, if you get this message, just text me later we’ll talk about it.”

Fans have since flocked to social media to share their reactions to the situation, with one YouTube user praising: “I love that probably the best rapper we’ve seen in 20 years always has a sense of humor and is cool and collected about his ego.

“He never grabs for any image. He’s just him. That’s why we love him.”

A second commented: “To me, she is one of the few lyricists who can stand in the same circle with Eminem.”

A third posted: “They would’ve been THE POWER COUPLE OF THE CENTURY.”

That’s for sure.

“The POWER they would have if they were together,” echoed another.

“Am I the only one that thinks he wanted to talk about her all the time through the whole concert,” wondered a fifth.

A final YouTube user added: “Wish they got together I’m fuming.”

While it’s no question that the pair would make one of the biggest power couples of the century, it’s been confirmed that the dating rumors were just that – rumors.
