Eminem Reiterates He’s Sorry for Rihanna Diss, Calls It Silly

Eminem has already expressed regret to Rihanna for a previously released diss song on his new song, “Zeus,” but he’s going over and above to demonstrate his sincere regret.

In an interview with SiriusXM on Monday, Shady discussed the leaked clip of “Things Get Worse” and revealed that he has no memory of recording the line in which he raps that he supports Chris Brown—this being shortly after CB physically assaulted Rihanna in 2009.

Shady deems it “f***ing silly” of him to record the verse and says it’s not an excuse, but he was relearning how to rap at the time because of his addiction problems. He says he thinks he merely followed it since it rhymed, but he should have given it more attention.In the lyrics of “Zeus,” Eminem aims at Rihanna directly. And my sincere apologies, Rihanna apologize to Ri for the song; it wasn’t intended to upset you.” It seems that he is determined to make apologies, but it is not yet apparent if this includes his ongoing feud with Snoop Dogg.
