Kobe Bryant’s former home in Irvine, California

While the Bryant family’s primary residence is in Newport Coast, the Los Angeles Times noted that Kobe and Vanessa purchased the Irvine home as an investment property in 2013.

There has been $200,000 worth of renovations done on the Tuscan-style house located in the guard-gated, family-friendly community of Summit at Turtle Ridge.

The home is one-story with more than 2,300 square feet of living space and has three bedrooms and two and a half bathrooms. It also boasts wood-beam ceilings and hardwood floors. The open, gourmet kitchen has a large marble center island with a farmhouse sink. There’s a breakfast nook as well. French doors open up to outdoor space complete with a stone patio, brick fireplace, hot tub, bar, and barbecue grill.

The poperty is currently listed for $2.6 million.

Another one Kobe’s former homes hit the market in 2020. His childhood home in Pennsylvania was listed for $899,900. Kobe’s parents sold the house, located in a suburb outside of Philadelphia, in 2008.

It has five bedrooms and three and a half bathrooms. The large living room opens up to a modern kitchen with granite countertops and custom maple cabinetry. There’s also plenty of outdoor space for entertaining. But the best part is the actual basketball hoop where Kobe practiced as a teen is still in the driveway.

The listing for the home read: “This beautiful Colonial has been meticulously maintained and is located in the heart of Wynnewood — close to shopping, dining, and you’ll love the easy commute into Philadelphia. It happens to be the former home of beloved NBA superstar Kobe Bryant. He spent his teenage years living at 1224 Remington and attended Lower Merion High School from 1992-1996… The home’s most significant feature is Kobe’s basketball hoop in the driveway where he spent countless hours perfecting his craft.”

TMZ Sports noted that the property sold in November 2020 for $810,000.
